Not much to it. It's a blender bottle and it blends. Does what its supposed to do. No leaks and easy to clean. You can shake the ish outta this thing and it wont leak. A couple of minimal effort shakes, and everything is mixed easily inside. Get it.

The wire wisk works well to mix protein drinks and the cup is of high quality. However, the white cap is very difficult to open. I'm hoping that as I use the cups more that the fit becomes looser, but as it is now I have trouble getting my drink open after I've mixed it. I wouldn't recommend these for children or people with low upper-body strength.

Couldn't be happier with this product. Simple and elegant design does the job every time. Very easy to clean, does a great job mixing everything from protein powder to homemade eggnog. Highly recommended.

I ordered the 20 oz bottle for my post-workout protein shakes and I must say I am more than pleased. This shaker works so well because of the ball it comes with. Shaking for about 20-30 seconds yields awesome results with no leftover protein clumps/powder residue that you can sometimes see after using other shakers, or stirring w/ a spoon. I loved mine so much that I just ordered another to keep at work! Highly recommend this product.

I BOUGHT THIS SOUND MACHINE AS A GIFT. I HAVE TESTED IT SO I KNOW IT WORKS BEAUTIFULY. I AND MY WIFE BOTH HAVE SIMILER MACHINES BUT NOT AS NICE AND HAVE USED THEM FOR MANY YEARS DUE TO OUR AGE ( in our 70s)BUT FIND THIS ONE MACHINE TO BE FAR BETTER THAN EIGHTER ONE OF OUR MACHINES. IS FAR MORE APEALING TO THE EYE, HAS A NICE SOUND (many sound tracks more than our old machines) . IF EITHER OF OUR CURENT MACHINES FAIL I WILL NOT HESITATE TO REPLACE IT WITH ONE OF THESE MODELS.S

Delivered VERY quickly and works great. The numbers are larger than the one it replaced and the choice of sounds is adequate for my needs. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to where all the buttons were, but now I can manage them even in the dark. My favorite is waking to the sound of waves, but I there are a couple others that I like almost as much. I needed one with a battery backup, since there are short power outages that could mess up my morning...and this clock has preformed well in that regard, as well. Super value!

Our 2-year old was waking up in the middle of the night and not going back to sleep. Finally, after 2 weeks of using the "waterfall" sound, she will go down and sleep until 7 am. She even asks for the radio to be turned on at night!

Cute little unit. Surprising good video. Small enough to easily carry on an airplane, which is why I bought it in the first place. The audio volume could be louder on the built-in speakers, but not a major issue for me since I will be using it with the included headphones while traveling. Comes with a nice little remote control unit. Battery charge is only about 2.5 hours, but the unit runs while charging so if you're sitting in an airport, you can charge between flights while watching a movie. Perfect little unit for my purposes.

I felt skeptical about the brand COBY which I always thought was a low quality brand. The design of the DVD player is kind of ugly and the screen is small. But I give this product 5 stars.
- The price is fantastic. A DVD player is technology that will clearly be useless in a few years, so I wanted a cheap device.
- There is a "hack" to make this a multi-region player. google it.
- Its sturdy. My 3 year old and 20 month old kids were not able to destroy it in a 3 week vacation.
- Its easy to use. Really, idiot proof.
Cons
- Battery life is short. I bought an Energizer external battery pack
- Does not come with car charger or case
- I would have liked some way to lock the buttons so my kids can press things while the movie was playing.
I am planning on buying 1 more so each kid can have their own!

I recently purchase the Coby TFDVD7009 7-Inch Portable DVD player. The DVD player plays purchased DVDs just fine. I wanted to use it to watch previously recorded TV shows which I have recorded on my DVD recorder. The Coby does not play recorded DVDs. I have called the Coby company and Toshiba( my recorder is a Toshiba) and each company blames the other for the fact that it will not play my recorded DVDs. I am disappointed in this aspect of the Coby, but will keep the player for use in the car.

~ May 23, 2010 ~ fullerton mommy said:great compact dvd player for the price!
This is a great compact and light dvd player for the price. I was in the market for an inexpensive portable dvd player for my 2-year-old son. I also have the TFDVD7008, but my son kept touching the inside of the player that dvds don't play properly anymore. However, because I liked it so much, I decided to buy another one. I can't comment on all the technical features because I basically use it to play my son's favorite dvds, but I like that it's small, compact, and light. I can fit it in my bag and take it with me wherever I go. The battery life is about 4 hours, which is plenty! I like that it has a rubber grip on the bottom, so the player doesn't slide around on a table (the 7008 didn't have that). I only wish there was a menu button on the player itself and not just on the remote because I don't really use the remote. I also wish there was a way to store the remote in the player itself. That would be nice. Other than that, I really like this dvd player.

Bought two of these from Costco. The one with the black lid is unusable due to an odor from the lid. The one with a red top seems a bit better. Don't waste your money.

~ August 19, 2010 ~ Gabriel Mongefranco said:Ingenious design, right price
The Contigo insulated tumbler mug really is spill-proof as advertised. Liquids do not leak, and having to push a button before sipping means there is a nearly zero chance of spillage upon an accidental drop. Moreover, it does insulate hot and cold liquids for several hours.
What attracted me to this mug in the first place, however, was its stylish look. The stainless steel, futuristic curvature and edges, and the cool press-to-sip button all add up to a cup of the future look! The mechanism inside the lid is very stable (and ingenious), although it does take a few minutes of washing to get rid of the factory plastic smell (note that it is BPA free though). The stainless-steel version (which I purchased) is dishwasher-safe. The lids for all versions are also dishwasher-safe. I've seen this mug at local stores, but Amazon had a much better price -- including free 2-day shipping for students!

Overall, this mug is a great buy. I would highly recommend it, whether you want it for use in your car, backpacking trips, school or around the house. This is my new favorite mug.

I'm a coffee nut. Drink it all the time. As such I hate it when my travel mug leaks all over my shirt. Also hate it when the coffee gets cold before I get to enjoy it. This product solved both problems. Really is leak proof and really does keep coffee warm for a very long time. I bought one for my son and he loves it too. Then my wife (non coffee person) just had to have one for soft drinks and now she loves hers too.
~ August 16, 2010 ~ Alison Wood said:Concept good, but can't use because of the gross-factor!
I bought this for my husband's birthday. We both thought it was great in the beginning. Then after a few uses, it became REALLY gross! The flavor of the coffee became really strange. And I noticed that no matter how hard I tried to clean it, I couldn't get the gunk out of the crevices. Then I soaked it and became really grossed out. All of this black mold started coming out of it. After I did that, I thought maybe that was it and since I cleaned it so well, no more funny taste and no more gunk. I was wrong! As frugal of a person that I am, I ended up throwing this away. I'm going to go to the store and buy a cheapo brand. Don't waste your money!

I just got my new Magnavox (Funai) MDR513H/F7 installed in my home and it is nothing short of great. A particularly great quality is that usage-wise, it is a near-mirror image of the Philips DVDR3576H which I also own. This new Magnavox with it's large HDD will ultimately replace the Philips machine and the fact that the two are functionally near-identical is going to make the transition easy.
I own two of the Philips DVDR3575H, both with inherent defective digital tuners, and the 3576H which has been superb. These type machines are a perfect replacement for the VCR and are both the Philips and the Magnavox products are wonderfully easy to use, including editing.
These are not HD machines but I only need a successor to VCR's for recording and editing off-air and DishNet SD broadcasts. If I needed to watch HD I'd buy an HD player but I have no need of that at this point in my life.
Only time will tell if this product holds up quality-wise but the Philips 3576H predecessor from Funai has been problem-free for me for over a year. I see no reason for this Magnavox (also by Funai) to be otherwise.
I expect to buy one more of these as a spare in case Funai decides to stop making them as they did the Philps line. I was extremely distressed for a while when I could not find any DVDR with HDD on the market and was resigned to having to try to get a very good PC to try to use as a poor substitute. I was elated when I found this Magnavox product and even happier to find it was a ready successor to the Philips product.
These are basic machines which are very user-friendly. Editing to delete unwanted material from recordings or to split material into multiple titles is a piece of cake and the results are excellent. Someone seeking more sophisticated editing capability might be disappointed but these serve my home needs perfectly. While they can split titles, they cannot join titles which is about the ONLY task I wish they might be able to the but that need is very rare. Editing the beginning and ends of recording and eliminating unwanted content such as commercials or anything else is a piece of cake.
This is additionally very useful for downloading and editing video from my SD video cameras. It lacks the USB input which the Philips had but I never used that anyway so I don't miss it. The DV or composite inputs work great for my needs.
I would strongly recommend this product to anyone seeking a good successor to the VCR who is only interested in working with SD video. Five bright stars overall.

This is the best DVD recorder I've had. It even has features I haven't used, such as freezing live TV. It makes great recordings. I usually record onto DVDs but there are times when there are two or three programs in succession, I record to the hard drive for those. I can either watch them from the hard drive or transfer them later to a DVD. I usually transfer my HDD recordings to a DVD because I usually watch TV on a big screen and home theatre sound system a Blu-Ray player. The recordings play better than any made on my two previous recorders. I'd happily recommend it to a friend.

We were looking to (finally) replace our VCR. My wife went to the local big box electronic store. She asked for a DVR and the clerked told her they don't sell them, she needed to go to the cable company, the only way to get a DVR. Uffda!
After a few minutes on the web, including the very helpful AVS forum, I found this unit (at least a near identical predecessor).
We have basic basic cable, no box, no digital. The unit found all the correct channels, no problem, no need for any cable box or other equipment.
Set up is easy, no worse than any comparable electronics gear.
Recording is easy. With 60 plus hours on high quality, I doubt we'll run out too soon.
I wanted a DVD burner to watch recorded shows on the downstairs TV, where we exercise in the winter.
So far, so good.
