Bought a B&D cordless trimmer and while I have no trouble rewinding a string trimmer spool by hand, thought this was cheap enough to have sitting in the garage to avoid the chore.
So far, I've had really good life from the original spool in the trimmer, so haven't even needed to go into the spares yet. If the replacements work as well as what came in the trimmer (and it should be the same stuff right?) I don't know if I'll ever have to buy more of these!

I HAVE USED IT 3 TIMES SO FAR, IT WORKS WELL, I AM SATISFIED, I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS GOOD FOR WHAT YOU GET, THE QUALITY IS THERE. I USE IT MOSTLY FOR CONCRETE WALKWAYS AND DRIVEWAY, I REALY LIKE THE VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL WICH IS CONVENIENTLY PLACED, THE VACUUM IS POWERFUL AND I HAD NO TROUBLE CLEANING UP ALL THE LEAVES QUICKLY.
YES YOU DO HAVE TO MANIPULATE THE CORD, I FOUND THE BEST WAY IS TO WORK AWAY FROM THE OUTLET. EMPTYING THE BAG WAS EASY, I LIKE HOW THE IMPELER CHOPPED UP THE LEAVES, I USE THEM AS MULCH AROUND MY PLANTS.
MY ONLY GRIPE IS THE BAG WOULD BE EASIER TO WORK WITH IF IT WAS STRAPPED TO THE BACK LIKE A BACK PACK, TORO COULD EASILY MAKE A FLEXIBLE TUBE TO CONECT TO THE MACHINE. OVERALL I WOULD BUY THIS ITEM AGAIN. MJS.Toro 51599 Ultra 12 amp Variable-Speed Electric Blower/Vacuum with Metal Impeller

This leaf blower is amazing. Super powerful, easy to use, very easy to put together and surprisingly, not obnoxiously loud. If you want to blow your leaves and trash into the neighbors yard, this is what you need. If not, you still need this machine if leaves drive you crazy. I have cottonwood trees that shed leaves every single day and I was sick & tired of raking and picking them up. After reading the reviews on this leaf blower, I ordered it from Amazon, got it very quickly and am extremely happy I did. Unless someone cuts down these annoying trees of mine, I will always have to deal with leaves and this amazing machine makes my life a little easier. Worth every penny.

The first time I used this Toro electric blower it worked great although is nosier at higher speeds than expected. A week later when I tried to use it again nothing happened. When I called Toro they were very pleasant, and said they suspected a safety switch of some sort had stuck and if I shipped it back they would send me a new one in a few weeks. They do not pay for shipping so I am $22 poorer and back to using my B&D cordless while I wait for a replacement. Not a good intro to my first Toro.

Air Speed and Air Volume to Get Yard Jobs Done
Unlike some manufacturers, who simply reduce the size of their blower nozzles to achieve higher air speed ratings without increasing the practical value of their tools, Toro gives this blower vac the ability to balance between air speed (measured in mph) and air volume (measured in cfm) to ensure maximum power and performance. This Ultra blower vac offers air speeds up to 235 mph and air volume up to 255 cfm, allowing you to move a substantial volume of leaves and debris with ease.
3-in-1 Versatility Makes Managing Tasks Easy
A convenient quick-release latch lets you convert your blower into a vacuum in seconds without any tools, while a metal impeller makes it easy to mulch debris.
The magnesium serrated metal blades on the impeller shred leaves and other unwanted debris into a fine mulch that you can use around your lawn and garden, saving money and recycling important nutrients. It also makes it easy to dispose of unwanted yard waste, since the impeller can reduce 16 bags’ worth of leaves to one bag.
Clean and Efficient with Electric Power
Compared with gas blowers, electric blowers are quieter, more eco-friendly, and require less maintenance. They start up instantly without requiring you to master a finicky pull cord. There's no messy gas-oil mixture to worry about, and you don't have to contend with noxious fumes to get a job done.
This high-powered blower also weighs in at a very manageable 7.5 pounds, making it easy on your back.
This blower/vac is backed by a full two-year warranty.

Yes, I have to remember to turn it off when I go in the backyard, but it does not spray that much, mostly makes noise which startles the forest critters. Though our neighbours grandkids think it is blast to run through on hot day, which is fine. However the spray head is made completely of plastic and after 1 1/2 summers of duty, the nub that holds that top flapper broke off. Lucky enough the plastic head is a standard design and I found the same head (metal construction) at Home Depot on one of those ground stakes, bought, took it off the stake and installed it into the Scarecrow and back in business. I would still recommend this unit highly as it really does work and is worth the effort if you want the deer to stay out of your garden.

Whether you're a dedicated organic vegetable gardener or a parent looking out for the health of children and pets that play in your yard, you'll appreciate the simple, innovative, and effective water-based concept behind the Scarecrow Motion-Activated Sprinkler. It's also a great choice for neighborhoods where fences are prohibited and for people who consider wire fences and other visual barriers unappealing.
When the ScareCrow detects an animal it instantly releases a short but startling burst of water. The sudden spray of water and the movement and noise of the sprinkler scares animals away. Animals associate this negative experience with the area and avoid your yard in the future.
Versatile and Broad-Reaching for Maximum Effectiveness
The Scarecrow is versatile enough to keep deer, rabbits, and other foragers from snacking on plants and bulbs, to prevent dogs from digging up newly seeded lawns, to keep the cat from using your garden as a litter box, and to scare predators like herons and raccoons away from your fish pond.
The ScareCrow's motion detector is powerful enough to guard an area up to 1000 square feet of coverage with a single sprinkler. For added coverage, Scarecrow sprinklers can be linked in series to guard larger spaces.
Efficient Design and Easy to Set Up
Setting the Scarecrow up is fast and easy, and doesn't require any special tools. Simply install a standard 9-volt battery, connect the sprinkler to your hose, push the 17-inch stake into ground to secure the unit, and set the adjustable sprinkler arc to cover the area you want protected.

The insects explode with a pleasant 'bang' and it is so satisfying that one soon goes looking for more to kill..
The battery cover is cheap and may get loose. I placed some duct tape over that to hold it in place.
In terms of design I would prefer just a single switch (no doubt lawyers made them use two - you know, for safety) but one does get used to holding both to switch it on. One can also easily open the unit up and solder one switch closed.
After being given one and find one at a yard sale I bought 6 more!

~ August 27, 2010 ~ Redd06 from Edinburg, Texas United States said:Zaps bugs dead!
This is the best pest control purchase we have made. Holding the two buttons activates the electricity, and once you touch a insect with the exposed wires, there's a loud POP and everything we have zapped immediately falls to the ground.
There's only two things I want to point out...
#1 - The ZAP isn't strong enough to kill everything. Some bigger bugs will need to be stepped on as they're stunned.
#2 - Don't use this as a flyswatter. If you bring this zapper down hard and make full contact on a table or wall, the neck plastic will crack. You want to just touch the bugs with the wires, not smack them flat.
Just waving this around outdoors brought down more flies and mosquitoes than anything else we have tried. Highly recommended.

This is a great replacement for a charcoal chimney I got almost 10 years ago, that finally fell apart (due to leaving it outside year round). This one definitely feels sturdier and the hinged metal handle is very useful when trying to slowly pour out charcoal for indirect cooking. I certainly hope this one lasts as long as the last (it certainly seems like it will), though I will try to help it by remembering to store it away after use.
~ August 25, 2010 ~ Robert S. Tobias from Arlington, VA USA said:If you grill with charcoal there are several reasons to get this...
First the obvious... this thing is magical in how it gets coals to light. The description and majority of other comments are dead on; two pieces of newspaper in the bottom, coals in the top, set it down on your grill grate, light the paper (one match), and in 10 to 15 minutes the coals are blazing red hot!
Implied is that you don't have to bother with charcoal lighter fluid or self-lighting coals. That stuff smells bad and can't do anything to make barbecuing any healthier. Similarly, having a flammable liquid near your grill can't make things safer. :)
One additional benefit (not that you need more reasons to get one of these) is that it allows you to use a consistent amount of coals each time. That means consistent heat and consistent results. Sure, you can "eyeball it" but with this you don't have to bother.
I just wish I had got this sooner. The saving in lighter fluid alone would have paid for the chimney and I could have avoided the petroleum smell.

I bought two traps. The amazon box came poorly packaged and both product boxes appeared to have been opened. The product boxes are made of a paper-thin material as well.
I discovered that one box was missing a pad and the other had a broken bulb. Between the two I had a working trap but getting the glue pad to stay in place was a challenge. Perhaps, I had a defective trap but there was nothing to hold the pad in place and I couldn't very well press it down into place with the glue-side up.
The instructions really didn't cover inserting the glue pad, just said peel it off and place in bottom of trap. Yeah right. The process took me 10 minutes, some scotch tape, and looked like something out of a Laurel and Hardy film.
It is an attractive nightlight though.

My daughter came home from a visit with her dad, and unbeknownst to me, he was battling a flea problem. Long story short, my carpets were infested within a couple of weeks. I've used Adams carpet powder, boric acid, and Adams foggers, constant vacuuming, and they show back up within a few days. I ordered 6 of these, and within 24 hours, the first one wouldn't light. It has been a week, the 2 traps in my living room have quite a lot of fleas stuck to them, and the other rooms' traps have at least 10-15 each. Last night, a bulb burned out on another trap, and I've replaced it with the bulb from the first trap, but it still won't light (so 2 traps are useless.) I personally think if you bought the sticky refills and got some cheap desk lamps, aimed the light at the trap, it'd do the same thing. Currently, any fleas that jump on us get picked off and thrown onto the sticky part of the trap. I just ordered a few cans of Ultracide, and if that doesn't work, I'm going to rip out all of the carpets in my home. Drastic, but better than having fleas.

I love being able to check on the status of my basement's humidity level from the comfort of my kitchen - which really helps me decide on if I need to run the dehumidifer.
The product is well constructed, and a piece of cake to setup - with a great display that's easy to read. If you're looking for a basic thermomenter/hygrometer with multiple sensors, then look no further!
~ September 1, 2010 ~ Wohoho from United States said:An excellent product that will help you save energy, and your electric bill
I bought 2 sets of this product, so I have two base stations and two remote sensors. I put them all side by side, along with two other older Bionaire units that may be the predecessor of the model, because the design look the same as the base station. All 6 units show temperature within a 1 degree F. The Honeywell units read higher humidity than the Bionaire, by about 5%, which is very good, and that's really all one would ever need for home use. Older analog humidity sensors are highly untrustworthy in my experience.
The reason I bought 2 sets is because I wanted two remote sensors, one in my screened porch for outdoor conditions and one for the basement. I only need 1 base station, but the cost of the set is almost the same as the remote sensor, so it makes sense to buy 2 sets. each base station will read up to 3 sensors, but they would be the same 3. So in my case, both base stations monitor the basement and the outdoor conditions.
A lot of people run a dehumidifier in the basement, which is really like running an air conditioner without venting the heat and moisture outdoor, so it can get the basement quite warm. In the summer, even when the main floor is not so warm, i would run the AC. The cooler dry air naturally goes down to the basement if I leave the door open. This cuts down the use of the dehumidifier a lot. They use about the same amount of power (500W or so). The AC vents the heat and moisture outdoor, keep the house more comfortable, so it's a better use of the same electric power.
On a hot day, when the sun goes down, the outside temperature cools off and one is tempted to turn off the AC and open the windows. However, quite often the outdoor humidity gets high at the same time, because the air holds a lot more moisture when it's hot. So the air cools off the relative humidity may become very high. Opening the windows would save energy on the AC, but it would immediately raise the humidity in the basement and cause the dehumidifier to run, consuming the same power saved by the AC. Only when the outside air is both cool and dry, I would open the windows. Having this Honeywell system lets me make this kind of decisions that I couldn't otherwise make. It minimizes the use of the dehumidifier in the basement and keeps the house more comfortable in the summer. In the winter, the air is dry indoor and outdoor, I don't really need an outdoor sensor. It's better to keep the extra sensor inside so that the battery won't die.

Referencing the Honeywell TM005X
It does what you would expect it to do, namely the remote sensor module[RSM] reports(transmits) the temp/humid
to the indoor receiver unit with an update every 45 seconds. The modules I received agree within .2 deg F and
0 % humidity when left indoors side by side for at least half and hour. At my location, I'm thinking a second outdoor module would be an asset. Instead of ordering a separate module .... [at/near/more than] the price of
the TM005X, I'll just re-order the TM005X pair of modules & place the 2nd receiver unit in the kitchen.

Works perfectly. Easy to set up. Only using the one (supplied) remote sensor (in addition to the sensor in the indoor display unit). Wish I'd bought it sooner.
With the main display unit measuring 4.33 x 4.86 x 1.08 inches (WxHxD), and a display that includes comfort and trend indicators, you can place the TM005X on your desktop or hang it from a wall. With the remote sensor, you can track the temperatures of pools, hot tubs, spas, ponds, soil, and much more. The remote sensor has a transmission range of up to 100 feet. With the sensor powered by two AA lithium batteries, the unit has an outdoor temperature range of minus 38 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, and when the sensor is powered by two AA alkaline batteries, the range is minus 4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit. (The two AA batteries required for the sensor, and the two AA batteries required for the main unit, are not included.)

We live in a neighborhood that was apparently built on top of a massive ant farm. They show up all around the house (especially after watering the grass/plants) and enter the kitchen on almost a yearly basis.
After seeing a several scouts on the counter, I put one of the bait stations out. Within a few hours, there was a massive stream of them (and even a few larger "soldier" ants), so many that I actually put more stations out to make sure there was plenty of poison for them. Most reviews online say that their colonies were dead after a day or two, but for us it took over a week. Yes, the packaging says it could take up to 2 weeks, but I was hoping for the shorter duration, as having hundreds of ants running around near your cooktop isn't appealing. Thankfully, towards the end you only have to clean up a few clumps of dead ants around the station, as the rest seem to die back in their nest. Note: if you spill the liquid, you'll have to scrape it off the counter and wipe the area with a soapy sponge, as the stuff is more like syrup than water.
We've set these stations up in the past, and they did get rid of the ants after a while, but it's annoying to have to do it every year. Soon I'll be buying those outdoor stations, as I'd rather kill them closer to the source, before they can get close to the house!

This trap has taken care of the small invaders indoors and out. The one used outside sat in 90+ heat and rain and the ants kept coming back. They stopped coming after 3 days and have not been seen since. In my kitchen, the first army disappeared after two days of working on the trap. The second took three days. In all cases once a few found the trap, they would soon stop wondering anywhere else and begin swarming to the trap.

This stuff is great. We had a recent ant coup in our house and had tried some other off-the-shelf products and none were really working. The ants unionized and went right around our other traps. Little punks. So, on the advice of a friend and the reviews here, I ordered some of this wonderful liquid death for these unwanted ants. What results! I put the traps down Monday night at 6pm. In 2 hours, the place was SWARMING with ants. It's hard to show restraint and not kill them all immediately, but I knew I had to let them have their little fun, grab their friends, and take this wonderful ant genocide juice back to their nest. Within 2 days (less than that, really), the antpocalypse had come and gone. Minus maybe the one straggler, the ants were gone and just a pile of dead ant corpses remained. Just wonderful. I howled with laughter as I scooped their little bodies into the trash. Get this stuff, and enjoy doing your part to rid the planet of your share of ants! :)

The only complain I have for this product is that it took 2 weeks before shipping. When I first found this product, I already purchased all brands that I can find in walmart and target. None of them worked. Then I found this one, and ordered it through 2nd day shipping. I got several emails from amazon saying that they are temporarily out of stock. I was like: is it so popular? But I decided to wait, and it turns out to be a correct decision.
I just got it today, and put 6 packs at suspicious places. 2 hours later, I checked them, and it was like filming some horrified B movie. Ants are everywhere near the bait, and you can clearly tell where the nest is from their routes. It's interesting that at places where there are no heck nearby, I get nothing at all, even it's under the dining table or my son's highchair (you know how messy a baby is). But near the nests, I can't tell the total number, like several hundreds of ants? Geez!
One tip to find heck, which might be useful for apartment/condo renters like us, the nests are often close to the corners of wall, faucets or sinks and appliances that need a hole behind to stay on the wall.
I'm still waiting for the death of ants, since so far they are pretty active. I know it takes a while, and I'm quite confident on the incoming results.
Good luck to everyone!

this stuff is great. it attracts the ants then they carry the stuff back to their nest. it was full of ants within a minute of setting it down. it took about a week before i noticed there were no more ants around. after all of the products i have tried this seems to be the most effective. i still use ant blocker around the perimeter of my house but i will continue to use this stuff too.

This inverter worked well for 18 months to power a 16" TV from our car cigarette lighter.
I measured the AC load on the inverter at only 20 watts, so I expected good inverter reliability.
This week, when the 30Amp fuse in the car that protects the cigarette lighter blew, I suspected
the inverter was shorted. After troubleshooting the problem I discovered the inverter was OK!
The short was in the 2-pin connector that plugs into the inverter. After cutting away part
of the rubber connector, I saw that the insulation on the wires had pulled slightly away
from the pins *inside* the moulded rubber connector allowing the stranded wires to touch.
There was very little clearance between the wires at that point and no insulating barrier.
I was able to repair the connector and used epoxy to keep the wires from touching.
Everything works again! I'm writing this review to alert others to this problem, so that they
won't assume the inverter shorted and failed. The problem is easily repairable.

Assuming it holds up, this is just what I needed, in a smaller, sleeker design than expected. I use it for a moist heat blanket for physical therapy. Very convenient.

So far I've only used it to charge my cell phone on a long trip, and it has worked great for that. The only thing I've noticed is that it will sometimes make a low volume but high pitched squealing sound for a very short time when first turning it on. It goes away after a minute so it really isn't an issue.

Needed an inverter for a 25 day road trip, this powered and charged many of my devices including a MacBook Pro, mobile phones, powered USB hubs (to charge USB devices) and camera batteries. I was impressed it charged my laptop while I was using it since I had a previous inverter that, when I plugged in an (old) laptop with battery, something happened with the battery and it wouldn't charge. Anyway, great product. 175 watts (or as someone said, 130 watts or so through DC) is enough for your typical electronic devices, just check your watts before buying.
~ August 21, 2010 ~ BX Nismo said:Ok, but not great
It's rated for 130 watt continous, but it's probably closer to 100watt. Used it for my laptop with a 120 watt draw. Worked fine for about 3 days, then overloaded. has to switch to my ac plug from my old laptop rated @ 90watt. It works but the laptop doesn't recharge as fast. The fan on the inverter works great, keeps unit cool even on 90+ degree days

I live in south central Wisconsin & the mosquito's have been terrible this year. I live in a rural sub division & the lots are all 1/2 to 1 acre in size. I placed the BK-80 about 20 feet from my patio & it is doing a good job of slowing my mosquito & moth population down. When I also use my Burgess fogger on the nights when we are going to be in the yard I have no mosquito's at all. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but after one week one bulb quit working, I called the 800# for Flowtron & got a recording telling me to leave a message & they would get back to me, they never did. I am a very handy person so I removed the top cover & looked at the two bulb starters & noticed that one was loose, so I just pushed it in a little & all is fine now. I used the one attractant cartridge that came with it but I couldn't notice any difference with it. I don't think it's worth cost of them, they are WAY over priced. If you buy one make sure that you go with the BK-80 my neighbor went with a smaller model & is not happy. He says he is going to get a BK-80.

I live in FL and have a mosquito problem. I bought this after reading all the positive reviews for mosquito control. I knew better, all studies show this technology is not really effective for biting insects... I tried over several nights leaving the units on for several hours around dusk. It killed a lot of insects, but only a handful of mosquitoes.
Now I need to buy what I should have in the first place, a mosquito magnet or mosquito deleto.
~ August 25, 2010 ~ Bob M from Madison, WI, US said:A good way to deal with large numbers of mosquitoes
I have been using the Flowtron BK-80D 80 watt bug light for over two weeks now. I purchased it because this summer has been great for mosquitoes but terrible for me. (One time returning to the house I saw my face covered with mosquitoes in the reflection on the sliding glass patio door. I killed five with one slap of my hand.) During the day I am in and out, making repeated trips to the garden and shed. I don't like to wear DEET continually and dislike the oily feeling that repellents which seem to work best have. When I first installed the Flowtron around dusk the day it was delivered, it sounded like a popcorn popper - it was zapping mosquitoes so rapidly. As another reviewer said, "...these things do not discriminate between beneficial bugs that we need for pollination of plants and such. Therefore, there is valid scientific criticism regarding their indiscriminate outdoor usage." Because I don't want to be killing beneficial insects I DID NOT remove any of the plastic protective bars which keep larger insects and moths from reaching the electrified rods. They don't bother me, I won't kill them. Also, I found that mosquitoes swarm around sunset. After a week of seeing lots of other corpses stuck to the rods (and having the clean the unit every day) I attached my Flowtron to an outdoor timer (available from Amazon - get a mechanical timer such as the Woods 59204, not a photoelectric light sensing control) so the light only turns on for three hours around sunset and an hour at sun rise. Not only did that seem to drastically cut down on collateral damage to the insect population but it saves a lot on electricity use. People who live where it is warmer at night may benefit from leaving the light on all night, but I'd already discovered that there were not many mosquitoes out after midnight when the temperature dropped to the mid-60's or lower. I learned that because I had taken up running after midnight this summer both for the cooler temperatures and the near mosquito-free conditions. In just two weeks the mosquito population is markedly reduced in my backyard. I hope to put some sort of tray under the light to see what I am killing though several toads and a snake have discovered this smorgasbord now and may skew the test results. I will have to hang the tray from the light to get an idea of what is being killed and how many mosquitoes won't be snacking on me. The instructions warn about spraying the unit with water to clean it. I found a leaf blower to be very effective as a means to clean the unit. I noticed that the unit also attracts and fries Asian beetles (those biting pests that look like lady bugs) just as it is getting dark out. They often have to be scraped (gently) off the rods. I am using the Octenol attractant at present but look forward to doing a test without it once I have my specimen collecting tray in place. My immediate goal was the slash the mosquito population and I think I am doing well in that respect. I'll report on my more detailed experiments later. My single strong criticism of the unit is that the cord that comes with it is not even long enough to reach the bottom of the light. I can't quite figure out how this makes the units "safer" unless it compels the user to plug the unit into the end of an extension cord above the level of the bottom of the unit. And why that matter, I don't know, unless one might set the light in a puddle or pan of water. I have the light hanging on a large metal shepherd's hook in a semicircular grove of small trees about 30 feet from the back of the house. The mosquito population on that side of the house is now decidedly less than on the other side of the house. I expect the situation to continue to improve. If it does I may be ordering a second light. We also have a problem with biting flies and as far as I can tell the flies are not attracted by light at all. So I don't recommend using an ultraviolet light product to kill this kind of fly (or to criticize the light when it doesn't). I like Flowtron's suggestion that one retain the box as a way to safely store the light over the winter. The box does protect the light - the box my light came in was pretty well banged up but the light was undamaged.

Best hearing protection I've used. I believe these are the best Earmuffs for power-tools for under $100. They are quite comfortable, durable, and seem like an excellent value. I am able to wear them for long periods of time (an hour) without discomfort. I highly recommend the Peltor H10A.

~ August 26, 2010 ~ Joe said:Very Good Product But Not Very Compact
These earmuffs are awesome. They are extremely comfy and block sound very well. The only thing I would change is the compactness. I was looking at a few other Peltor muffs and some of them fold into the upper headband part making them very compact. These don't do that so they are a little bulky when traveling with them. You are also unable to remove the pads for cleaning/replacement. Other than that, they are great muffs, especially for the price!
~ August 23, 2010 ~ L. Sernyk said:Great Earmuffs for mowing the lawn
I had been using those little foam ear plugs to protect my ears when mowing but they were next to useless. They didn't block out much of the noise and kept falling out. I mow for about 1.2 hours at least once a week and I needed something better.
I searched on Amazon, found these and based on the other reviews ordered a pair. They are nothing short of awesome. I have a small Kubota diesel tractor with mower deck and when tractor is on low speed, I can hardly hear it at all with these earmuffs on. Even at mowing speed, I can only faintly hear the tractor.
These earmuffs cover my ears completely and at least for me are very comfortable to wear for 1.5 hours at a time. I thought it might get hot with them on but I have mowed several times this summer with 90F+ temperatures without any problem.
A caution is that these earmuffs block out sound so well that I need to be very careful when going out onto the road as I cannot hear the traffic.
I highly recommend these earmuffs for use as hearing protectors when mowing your lawn or in other high noise areas.
~ August 21, 2010 ~ Aerobat said:Low price for silence
These Peltor Earmuffs are really great for the price. I don't usually wear them for more than 15 to 20 minutes at a time so I have not experienced "Head Clamp" discomfort, That may be an issue with long term wear because the band is fairly tight to make a good seal. Yet these are more comfortable than my Peltor aviation headsets. For working in the shop, mowing the lawn, hanging around the flight line or watching the Blue Angles practice in El Centro, CA (My intended use) these are a great buy. Your ears will appreciate them.

We purchased this product because one stray cat we brought into the house had fleas. We plugged the product in and one hour later there were at least a dozen fleas stuck to the trap like glue! We have used it for a month and the trap is full! The trap is replaceable but since fleas are small, you can get a lot of life out of one. We do not leave it plugged in while we are not home, but when we are, it is plugged in and doing its job. Amazing product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!If you have fleas in your home, try this, no chemicals or poisons...............Try this product!
~ June 27, 2010 ~ stature from tu said:it works so I bought these refills
I have the trap and am on the second sticky pad (the unit that I
bought came with two sticky pads).
So, I bought the refill pack (which comes with three sticky pads).
I use my trap in the room that the dog sleeps in. In the daytime,
the dog is not in the room, the room is made dark, blinds closed,
door closed, from morning till night. The trap gets about 3-4
fleas per day and after a month that sticky pad looks disgusting
and coated with fleas. The key for me is to keep the room dark
during the day and keep the dog out of the room. The trap is the
only source of warmth and light in the room and attracts the fleas.
This is a terrible flea season where I live, and nothing in the
yard, or frontline on the dog seems to help. I walk my dog every
day so he will always pick fleas up. In addition to the trap
I've tried nemotodes in the yard and wet down the dog and flea
comb them off my dog and drown those fleas in soapy water about
two to three times per week. I've also got diatomaceous earth
rubbed into his bedding. I vacuum frequently.
This trap thing is great because its
no work compared to all the other things I do to fight fleas.
So I recommend buying these refills

I was getting bitten up every night. I bought 2 of these units and put one on the floor by my bed and one under my living room couch. I was amazed to see how many flees ended up on the pad. I found the best results when I kept my door open letting cold air in my house. it was about 50 degrees and the traps became extremely congested with fleas in that one day.

I have been using rechargeables for 10 years, and this (in my view, 3rd generation) charger is the best by far. It charges fast or completely conditions them by cycling 20 times. It has brought previously dead cells back to life, and increased the capacity of both Sanyo Eneloops and Energizers. Best feature is that you can select a separate program, function or display for **each cell**. No more having to charge in pairs; very, very flexible.

This charger is a great buy.
On the first battery I tried 'refresh' mode (original mAh rating of 1700 mAh) it originally charge to 429 mAH full charge. After running refresh mode, it rated 1550 mAH! No more buying new rechargables for a while. I'm slowly working through my other batteries. Refresh actually takes several days on some batteries (several charge / discharge cycles).
You can charge/discharge/refresh/test individual batteries (nicad / nimh only).
I purchased with sanyo eneloop batteries which are great.

This is a great charger for the price. Its simple to use once you play around with it. Just read the quick reference and manual and you should be good. The only thing is the buttons are a little jumpy so they don't register exactly every time but once you get used to it becomes easier. Start out with one battery to practice then all four.

This is a great charger for your AA/AAA batteries. It can be as simple as dropping your batteries in and walking away. OR, you can select the charging current for rapid charging, as well as refresh old batteries.
The biggest benefit to me, is that you can see exactly what is going on with your batteries. I have already found 3 batteries that I never knew were bad, and refreshed 4 more. These 4 AA batteries took 350mah of charge the first time I dropped them in. I ran them through a refresh cycle, and they now are back up to the listed capacity of 2200mah!
Get it, you wont be disappointed.

It may be able to carry 150 pounds as displayed in the picture, when the weights are evenly distributed vertically. However, if you have one box of books or papers (which are usually very happy), then you will have a hard time lifting it unless if you are really strong and acrobatic, because all the weights are concentrated at the bottom of the hand truck.
For other purposes, this is great; but not if you are a lawyer and moving a lot books and papers. For that purpose, you need something with four wheels and that don't rely on lever actions.

I was looking for a short hose to use with my pressure washer. I stopped at Lowes and the only thing they had in the 15' length was some cheap looking "utility" hose of very poor quality. I think they wanted $6 or $7 for, but I can not imagine it lasting very long.
I ordered this hose from Amazon and just got it today. I was impressed with it - the hose itself feels sturdy, (as in not easy to collapse), and the ends look to be of decent quality. It's actually a silver-gray color with a yellow stripe, but it looks nice. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase and would buy it again if I needed another one.
