Pros:
The case fits great, much better and sturdier than anything I have seen. The other option was the Ballistic case. I opted for the Otterbox due to the Ballistic being way to bulky. The fit is perfect and the belt holder is surprisingly versatile. The best thing is that it doubles as a stand of the Iphone. Who needs the Evo's kickstand!
Cons:
I initially installed the case with the Zagg (from Bestbuy) screen cover. I loved the feel and look (or lack of since you couldn't tell it was there) of the protector and didn't want to throw it away in case I felt like using the phone caseless. Because of this I had the oily screen problems and had to used baby powder. I still didn't like the look and feel of Otterbox's screen protector. The problem was that the Otterbox's build-in screen cover was thick and did take away from the clarity of the iphone's screen. In the end I popped it off and used the case over the Zagg protector which created the perfect combo. The protection of Otterbox around most of the phone while still retaining the solid touch screen feel and clarity that motivated me to get the Iphone in the first place. The screen is still well protected with the ZAGG.

I had an Otterbox for my iPhone 3g and loved it. This one is a little different. It does not allow my Dynex stereo cord for the car radio to go into the earphone hole. I have to take the case partially apart to listen to music in my car. Buyers may want to purchase stereo cords with smaller ends.

I'm very happy with this iphone case. It is very strong and I feel like my iphone is protected. The only two negatives is that the case adds a lot of bulk to the phone, and the screen proctor takes some of the brightness out of the screen. It's not a big deal, but it does take a way from the crispness of photos, and videos you may watch on your phone. Other then that it's a great case.
~ September 2, 2010 ~ Yiu Wai Chan from New York City said:Well worth it; bulky but near complete protection
For under $35, it's well worth it. Even though the inside body is made of hard plastic, the protective soft outer layer looks like it will protect the iphone from the shock of normal drops. And the included screen protector, while it does dim the screen a little bit, is very responsive to the touch. I just put mine on and it makes me much more at ease with handling my iphone 4. But be aware it does add lots of bulk (about 1.5x the depth) and it seems to come only in black.
Lastly, except for the camera lenses, the flash, light sensor, the speakers and a tiny hole near the headphones, everything is covered, with flaps for the connector dock, silent ringer, and headphone jack. Can't yet comment about how it protects it from dust infiltration since I just got it today.

My old charger didn't do anything for my Evo 4G - after 40 minutes of driving, the battery was maybe 1-2% higher. This new charger (rated 950mA instead of 500) actually charges the monster Evo 4G - Even using GPS w/ Google Maps navigation and talking, the battery was fully charged at the end of that same 40 minute commute.
The cable is a decent length too, and pretty flexible.
Had to take off 1 star because the blue motorola "M" is waaayyyy tooooo bright at night, especially when all the other lights in my vehicle are orange/amber. Nothing that a little black duct tape couldn't fix though...

I bought this charger for my Droid X. The charger is rated at 950ma which is good because it has a little overhead from the 850ma charger that comes with the phone. The blue light is on all the time which does not bother me but others have complained. The only thing that would be nice is if the light color changed to green once the pone is fully charged. Some other chargers do this. I would definitely recommend it. The price is great given it is a genuine Motorola charger.

I ordered 2 of these chargers for my Nexus One and they work very well. The blue led is a nice touch, but can be slightly distracting if it's connected close to your line of sight while driving at night.
I just wish the company I ordered through didn't charge a shipping fee for each since they were shipped together in an envelope, but i guess they are making up for the low price of the item. Either way $10 shipped for 2 name brand car chargers seems to be a decent price to me.

~ September 4, 2010 ~ Slag said:Very solid, my iPhone feels very secure
Great protection for your iPhone. Total wrap around, hard plastic combined with soft silicone rubber armors the iPhone like nothing else that I've seen. Liquid could still get at the iPhone through the twin holes in the base for the microphone/speaker phone, so it isn't water proof, but then it isn't really billed as such. But if you're going SCUBA diving with your iPhone, then you have other issues . . .
Only complaint (4 stars instead of 5) is the "oil slicking" that many other users have mentioned. I knew about this issue before buying my Otterbox Defender, having read lots of reviews on it, and it is something that I just have to put up with. The baby-powder solution sort of works, but I have found that if I get enough baby powder on the inside of the screen protector to prevent the oil slicking issue, then the screen just looks dirty. Mostly the oil slicking issue is only noticeable in bright sunlight, when the screen is hard to see anyway, and that may be alleviated by turning up the brightness intensity on the iPhone itself. I have mine set pretty low (probably 25% - 33%) and Auto-Brightness turned off, as I spend most of my time indoors.
The protection that the Otterbox defender offers FAR outweighs the minor annoyance of the oil slicking however, and I would recommend this case to ANYONE who is interested in protecting their multi-hundred dollar iPhone.
Oh yeah, one more thing about the included belt clip: it works PERFECTLY. Anyone who complains about it doesn't know how to use it properly. The iPhone (inside the Defender case) goes into the clip right-side up, and faced in (screen facing the clip).
Those who complain that it is too hard to remove from the clip, here is how you do it: Put your thumb on top of the iPhone/Otterbox (between the on/off switch and the headphone jack) and use your index finger to press against the forward clip of the holster while pulling out with the thumb. Using this method, the Otterbox pops out of the belt clip holster as easy as can be every time. Just trying to push/pull the Otterbox out of the clip is VERY difficult, but then that is what you want so it doesn't just fall out when you're active! But by pushing one of the side clips just slightly away from phone while pulling out with the thumb takes care of it.
~ September 2, 2010 ~ Ryan said:Dont mess around with other cases this is THE ONE.
Hi there, I am a very meticulous consumer. I try to take care of my stuff as best that I can and it is no wonder that my stuff still looks brand new after all this time. Before I bought the otterbox, I tried to think of potential hazards like rain, dirt, grime etc. in advance and made the decision from there. I needed rain/water, impact, dirt/oil, and screen protection in one. Hence, the Otterbox defender.
This case is just awesome. There is no doubt in my mind that this is the most durable and versatile case on the market right now. I have had it for 9 months now and I am LOVING IT. It looks great in white!
First off, i bought the white case and was initially worried that it might yellow and have dirt stains after a month or two. After 8 months, the case actually managed to become WHITER. This is a bit weird as I was comparing the new white rubber component to my used one. The new one is a bit of a yellowish white while the older one is skull white!
The rubber compound used for the case is made of thick silicone and it is very tough and stain resistant. I dropped my phone once and i thought that the silicone would be ruined...but there was no scratch on it at all. I just cleaned off the dirt from the road and that was that. The other impressive thing about this silicone is that it literally is stain proof! I was working on my car and was making frantic phone calls for a part that i really needed that day, so there was dirt, oil, grease, rust on my fingers while i was using my phone. I thought ok there goes the case, it's ruined. I grabbed a qtip with alcohol and brushed them all off. AMAZING. I will not try that again however, but it still impressed me. It did not absorb any of the dyes from some paint either.
A couple of people in my class complained that the case is thick. I beg to differ. It only adds a couple of centimeters on the phone and the fact that i am not worried about bumps, drops, water, stain, etc. is WORTH the extra centimeters. Not bulky at all; i guess they just like those trendy cases that dont protect their phone from actual DROPS. While buying a new phone might not be a problem for some, I want my device to last at least until the contract is up and i can get a new one :) Besides, the phone is absolutely PRISTINE thanks to the protection of the case. Needless to say, their phones are all scratched up these days.
I told myself that if I'm going to spend $350 on a new phone i might as well make it last and keep it in the best shape possible (since the value of these phones really hold up in the secondary market).
I do not use the speakers very much, so i decided to put a layer of saran wrap on the speakers. It looks invisible if you tug it right, and it gives an added "splash" protection from the rain.
The CONS:
The silicone part's main weakness is the tab for the headphones. This is pretty durable, but if you open it up at wrong angles + some force, it can rip. Mine only ripped because my little nephew tugged on it. Other than that, for normal everyday use ( i used it a LOT...8 months), it can hold up.
Some aftermarket chargers will not be able to fit at the port due to the port design.
The OIL slick pattern on the screen can be solved easily by "puffing" some powder on it (very light). Refer to the otterbox website for instructions.
Overall, WELL WORTH IT. It was worth it when it was $50, now that it is $20, it is an absolute STEAL.

OtterBox Defender Case for iPhone 3G, 3G S (Black)Good basic protection, the OtterBox defender has faults that that make it less useful.
1. The case is very protective but adds bulk and weight. I haven't weighed it but I sure notice it. My package came without instructions making it difficult at first to install the package.
2. The plastic window although protective interacted with the iPhone display surface causing annoying "wet" looking contact spots and the appearance of Newton's rings. I cut the plastic screen cover off.
3. The belt clip is functional with a caveat. The clip which can be locked open (I assume) to stand the case up? It occasionally did accidental lock open and the phone and clip fell off my belt. After 3 weeks of use the clip pin hinge broke and can no longer be used.
SUMMARY: Good protection but with major faults.

Don't use the other multimedia features--it is just a very quick and easy night charging dock for me. I have the Plantronics Pro and technically it works just fine. The problem is that the rubber breaks where it curves to fit over the ear and Plantronics will not repair this. The broken rubber exposes the wires going to the microphone and when it breaks completely the breakage of the wires will not be far behind. This makes the unit worthless, despite its originally good functioning.
Prior models of the Voyager used heavier and stiffer rubber for the piece which goes over the ear and those last quite well. My experience with this problem is not unique. If you search the internet you will find the same problems reported by other users.
Do yourself a favor and dont buy this!

With its finely tuned adaptive 20-band equalizer, AudioIQ² makes you sound like you're in the same room as your caller, not miles apart. To achieve this, AudioIQ² makes use of two microphones--one that's focused on your speech and the other that picks out distracting background sounds, such as road hum and construction noise. It then compares the data from the two mics and eliminates the unwanted sounds, leaving your unique voice free to be heard clearly and naturally, as it was meant to be.
The dual microphones are also stacked with three layers of WindSmart technology. Stainless steel mic screens, acoustic fabrics, and an electronic filter in the mic circuitry--all aggressively block intrusive wind noise. The adjustable boom, which allows you to wear the headset on either ear, positions the mics where they can best capture your voice, further enhancing the sound quality.

There are so many sketchy sellers selling phone chargers out there, that it can be a bit scary. The problem is that if the charger is poorly made, the output of the charger can be out of spec and can, in some cases, fry the phone you connect to it.
For that reason, when it comes to phone chargers, you should stick to name brands. (They are all made in China, but the name brand ones are usually subject to stricter QA).
When I found this charger on Amazon, SOLD BY AMAZON, I jumped on it. It's a MICRO USB charger, made for the Blackberry and sold under the Blackberry name, in retail packaging. The rated output is 5V and 700mA.
This charger should work fine with most any phone that uses the MICRO USB connector. The key number to pay attention to is the second one, the rated amperage. This is the MAXIMUM amount of current that the phone can request from the charger. A typical USB port on a PC provides as little as 100mA, and few provide more than 500mA. So this charger should charge your phone faster than when it's connected to a PC. A few phones out now can use up to 1000mA. But that just means they CAN use that amount. If 700mA is provided, they'll still charge, just a bit more slowly.
This is an excellent quality name brand travel micro USB charger at a price that beats the no-name junk from third party sellers. What's not to like?

I've become a fan of most plantronics products over the years. Never been disseminated and this blue tooth headpiece is no exception. Comfortable to wear, even for long periods, has good sound and very easy to connect to phone. My one complaint is that it does not come with the small ear piece inserts, (which is the reason I only gave it 4 stars). I had some ear pieces from another plantronic product, so I was fine, but if you don't happen to have a compatible unit, then you have to buy those separately -- which is kind of stupid. Just factor that into the price, I think they are $5.00 for a variety pack on Amazon. I also had to order a car charger separate, (it comes with an AC charger, but not one for the car), which was another $20.00. (oh you wanted a steering wheel with your car)?
Anyway, once you get all the needed accessories, it is a very good quality and functional unit. Highly recommended. I've had many blue tooth head sets over recent years and this is the best one, by far.

It's the only bluetooth I've used so I'm not sure if it's normal, but it's a bit annoying and not so professional.

I would say this is a must have for those who use their devices hard. It allows the phone to be dropped without impacting the device in any way and it keeps the phone in pristine condition. The only down side to this case is that if you do not have a screen protector on your iPhone prior to putting the phone in the case, then you will get bubbles and with the screen protector it can hurt the sensitivity for the touch screen. This can be frustrating if you are trying to end a call but it does not always occur. I would highly recommend this case to anyone who likes their devices and wishes nothing bad happen to them regardless if it is dropped or water is near.

Works as expected though the included screen protector lasted about 3 days despite proper installation. Also, it's worth mentioning that the phone gets pretty warm if you leave it in the case while streaming radio, or using it for extended periods of time for other than playing music through the iPod feature. I don't think this is dangerous but it's just a little unnerving and I tend to think it would decrease battery life. Maybe I am just paranoid, so I take the phone out of the case when I am at work (and not on the go) using this product. The white case is unusual and definitely improves your grip on the device. The molding is of good quailty, no thin spots anywhere, so you can take the phone out of the case without thought of prematurely wearing out the case. I definitely recommend.

Before I got this battery, my Evo 4G had to be charged a few times a day. This battery really lets you use the phone to it's full potential. The replacement back cover is also high quality. Kickstand, camera, flash, speakers all work fine.
Only downside is that I had to get a new case. BB had an Eddie Bauer leather case that works well.

So, I received my Seidio Battery on Thursday. I put it on charge overnight for about 8 hours. Took off the charge at 6:45 AM on Friday and it's Saturday 10:30 AM right now and I have 40% left.
Here's my usage - Unplugged since 1 Day 3H and 30 minutes
4G on from 6:45 AM on Friday till 5 PM - (with couple apps download, internet browsing) - I don't really have 4G in NOVA but I still get 1-3 bars
Few phone calls
Check and replied mails frequently
Listened to music for few mins
Net browsing for majority of time
Took few shots with camera (incl night shots)
Played unblockme for few mins
YouTube video download using (youtube ripper)
Played with the phone as much as I can since Friday evening ;)
Facebooking through this
All this with Live wall paper, all the syncs being on with an hr interval and without an app killer
And it's still 40% - I am sure I will get through today as well
I used to get about 14 hours with the same usage on my stock battery* but this is SUPER :)
Plus, this gives me peace of mind that my camera lens/glass is protected all the time (not touching the surface) :)
So, anyone planning to get this battery, go for it.. Enjoy
P.S. - Amazon customer since 4 years and purchased quite a few items but this is my FIRST REVIEW ! (I was really forced to after using this product)

Stock battery would run low every afternoon or earlier. I plug this in every other day because it's almost to yellow! Make the phone bigger and a bit heavier, but kinda easier to hold onto. The backplate also helps protect the camera lens from scratches and dirt.

If your ok with paying for items to sit around a shelf for a few days then maybe shipped, buy from this seller!

So... pulled it out box and put on with about 65% precharge... Its been 2.5 days and I JUST hit the warning and I have been playing with it on and off more than I ever have... This is absolutely insane. This battery makes this phone last longer than any phone I have ever owned. It also feels good too. After using androids and iphones over the past 3 years, I don't know what to do with myself now that I don't have to monitor battery life or keep a plug handy.
It just doesn't make sense to me... I have the most powerful cell phone on the market, with the largest screen on the market... AND my battery life is longer than anything else out there. My God, HTC... Sprint... why didn't you ship this thing like this in the first place, people would not have cared about the shape once the battery reviews started rolling in.... This thing is just overpowered... Once you try one, you realize how stupid you were not to buy one sooner. Now all we need is a case that fits it, that is worth a crap.
